What is cycle syncing?
Short answer is living and eating a lifestyle that is in sync with your menstrual cycle. We as women have 4 phases in our cycle: menstrual, follicular, ovulation, and luteal. Each phase has different needs to help our body’s hormones stay balanced. Certain foods, exercises, the way we connect and even the way we work can help our bodies stay in alignment. Lets learn about each phase and what to eat, what type of exercises to do and how to perform your best at work in each phase.
Menstrual
Approximately days 1-5.
In the phase you want to take it easy. Your exercises should be light, Outdoor walks, slow pace yoga, stretching, and body weight strength exercises. Eating warm foods like soups and stews that are rich in iron and protein can help replenish what you are losing in this phase. Reflecting and reviewing any projects that you are working on will help align you in this phase. Evaluate and journal what is going on in your life. Be kind to yourself during this phase, your body is going through alot and needs the rest.
Follicular

Here your body is regaining energy. Jogging, swimming, and HIIT workouts will help you feel great in this phase.
